Meet Satellites: the second release of DeepTree 3 is live

DeepTree today introduces Satellites, the second release of DeepTree 3, bringing a more integrated Agent experience across the platform. The Agent is designed to support users throughout their research and analysis, from the initial search to a deeper investigation of companies, financials, markets and competitors.

Rather than acting as a separate layer, the Agent is embedded across the platform and works with the information already available in the section the user is exploring.

Search and refine

Search becomes an iterative process. Users can begin with a query and keep refining it conversationally: narrowing the scope, adding or removing criteria, adjusting filters and exploring different directions as the research develops.

This makes it possible to move from a broad initial search to a focused set of results without leaving the workflow. The same approach extends to company discovery, where the output can be refined directly as new questions emerge.

Explore companies in more depth

Within company analysis, the Agent supports a broader range of research activities. Users can explore a company’s financial performance, investigate a specific multiple, run a quality of earnings analysis, examine the market in which the company operates or look more closely at its competitors.

Questions stay focused on the company or section being reviewed, so the analysis continues from the information already in front of the user, moving from an initial observation to a detailed investigation without interrupting the analytical flow.

Built for the way research develops

Research rarely follows a fixed sequence. A search can lead to a company, a company can raise questions about its financials, and those questions can lead to a closer look at competitors or the wider market.

Satellites is designed around that progression. The Agent supports the next step of the analysis as the research evolves, across search, company analysis and market research, while users stay in control of how far each investigation goes.

Two chapters live, two to come

Satellites follows Horizon, the first chapter, which brought the new DeepTree experience and six new capabilities. Two releases are still to come: Deep Field, bringing to light what was unseen, and Orbit, which closes the circle. Each chapter is announced as it goes live.
